The Veranda is one block from historic Senoia's Main Street, where you'll find the famous Holberg Furniture Store, Buggy Museum(open Thursday through Sunday, 1pm -5pm), Southern Living Idea House(open Wednesday through Sunday, 11am-5pm), Senoia Area Historical Society Museum ( open Friday and Saturdays, 1-4pm) and quaint shops. Other local attractions include antique shops and restaurants, historic tours (Senoia has over 113 sites on the National Historic Register), golf, Calloway Gardens, Dunaway Gardens, President Franklin D. Roosevelt's Little White House, the Atlanta Motor Speedway, and Riverwood Studios where Fried Green Tomatoes and The War were filmed.
The Veranda is 45 miles south of Atlanta and 35 miles south of the Atlanta Airport.
