Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 1906 Greek Revival mansion was originally the Hollberg Hotel. The 8,000 square foot Inn with nine guest bedrooms still has its original features: Georgia heart pine floors, ornate tin ceilings, elegant light fixtures and chandeliers, and eleven fireplaces. A beautiful garden, rocking chairs and porch swings on the generous wrap-around veranda add to your journey back in time.
The ten lovely guest bedrooms in The Veranda are all appointed with beautiful antiques and modern bathrooms. Room 2 features the Inn’s original clawfoot tub and hand shower. Wireless Internet Service is available for guests at the Inn. . Rooms 7, 9, and 10 have a television with youtube tv.
Our Veranda breakfast is included with your stay. During the week we offer a continental breakfast consisting of fresh coffee, orange juice, bagels, pastries, cream cheese, and fruit. On Saturdays and Sundays we offer a full hot southern breakfast complete with scrambled eggs, grits, potatoes, tomatoes, bacon or sausage, and various other delicious foods. Two breakfasts are included with your stay. Additional guests or outside guests may join us for breakfast for $25.
